In the summer of 1993, on June 21st, the remains of an unidentified black male were discovered floating in the Hudson River, near Pier 81 at West 41st Street in New York City. The individual, later referred to as Keith Washington for identification purposes in records, presents a complex case within the annals of unclaimed persons.
