On July 8, 1993, the lifeless body of an unidentified male, later referred to as Christopher McCall, was discovered floating in the Hudson River near West 26th Street in New York City. The discovery was made by two individuals who were swimming approximately 40 yards from the shore. The body was that of an unknown black male, and despite efforts to identify him, his true identity remains elusive.
