On September 5, 1995, the body of an unidentified homeless male was discovered in Brooklyn, New York. The individual, later referred to as Al Thurman, was involved in a tragic incident on the boardwalk. He was approached by three males who proceeded to hit and punch him. In an attempt to escape his attackers, he jumped into the water but tragically drowned.
