On February 21, 2022, the body of Johnny Clarence Atkinson was discovered in Lancaster, Texas. He was later pronounced deceased in Dallas, Texas. The case, currently classified as an unclaimed person investigation, is being handled by the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Science. Despite efforts, authorities have yet to locate any next of kin for Mr. Atkinson, and his remains remain unclaimed.
