On July 9, 2016, the body of Jackie Teresa Herd was discovered in Dallas, Texas. A female with limited identifying information, she was officially pronounced deceased in the city. Authorities from the Dallas County Sheriff's Department launched an investigation to determine her identity and establish contact with any surviving next of kin.
