In the rural outskirts of Tranquillity, California, a sheep farmer tending to his flock encountered a tragic and unsettling discovery. On August 18, 2023, while guiding his herd northward to a new location, the farmer spotted human remains in a long-abandoned canal. The canal, which hadn’t seen water in over six years, ran alongside the farmer’s route and had become overgrown with vegetation and obscured by time.
