On the morning of April 2, 2025, at approximately 7:30 a.m., a Parks and Recreation employee made a grim discovery in a Los Angeles public picnic area. The worker found a male individual, later identified as Thao Quoc Huynh, lying unresponsive and face-down beneath a bench or table. Emergency services were immediately contacted, prompting a response from LAPD Central Division and Los Angeles Fire Department Rescue Ambulance #803.
