On November 18, 2009, the body of Ronald Martin Reid was discovered at the Washington State Reformatory in Monroe, Washington. Despite his sudden demise, which was due to natural causes, little is known about Reid's life outside of the reformatory. There were no known next-of-kin to whom authorities could reach out, leaving him unclaimed and largely forgotten in the bureaucratic system.
