On April 6, 2025, the body of a 54-year-old male, identified as Charles Edward King, was discovered at a grocery store in Lakewood, Washington. Following his death, efforts by the Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office to locate family members or friends who could claim his remains were unsuccessful. Without anyone coming forward, his cremated remains are currently unclaimed but may be claimed by any individual at any time.
