On October 31, 2014, a male body was discovered in Anderson, South Carolina, identified only by the Namus ID: UCP1903. The individual was later found to be Walter Herbert Hancock. The cause of death was determined to be natural, specifically an acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack. Despite efforts to identify and locate next of kin, Hancock's remains went unclaimed.
