On October 3, 2024, the body of Nicholas Anthony Flenghi, an unclaimed male, was discovered in Cerritos, California. The discovery occurred when a local mailman, after noticing that mail had accumulated for three weeks, found the front door of the residence slightly open. Concerned for the well-being of the occupant, the mailman called out and entered the home. He was immediately struck by a foul odor emanating from within and promptly contacted emergency services.
