On February 17, 2025, a male body was discovered in San Juan, Puerto Rico, identified under the NamUs ID: UCP139889. The deceased, Edwin Diaz-Cintron, was found in a state of decomposition in his apartment. The discovery was initiated by a concerned neighbor who reported a foul smell emanating from the apartment to the authorities. Upon gaining access, the police made the unfortunate find, laying open the silent yet harrowing circumstances surrounding Diaz-Cintron’s unclaimed status.
