In a case that remains unsolved, the body of Juan Maximo Gomez was discovered on October 16, 2020, in Fort Worth, Texas. The discovery was made when the management team at Gomez's apartment complex decided to perform a welfare check. Their concern for their tenant's wellbeing led them to his apartment where they found him deceased under circumstances that necessitated further investigation.
