On August 25, 2021, a male body later identified as Michael Scannell was discovered in Fort Worth, Texas. In a critical state, Scannell managed to call 911 reporting that he was experiencing severe pain. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) swiftly responded to the call, transporting him to a nearby hospital. Despite the medical team's efforts, Scannell was pronounced dead upon arrival.
