On September 5, 2021, the body of an individual identified as Luis Baez-Rivera was discovered in a vacant lot in Ponce, Puerto Rico. The remains were found in a severely burned state, which made immediate identification difficult. The case has been registered with the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) under the ID UCP134280.
