On March 4, 2023, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office was involved in a case concerning the unclaimed body of Edwin Wilhelm Hass, a male found deceased at his home in Haltom City, Texas. Officers discovered Hass during a welfare check, which prompted questions about his life and circumstances leading up to his death.
