On the morning of September 7, 2023, an anonymous text message was sent to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) at 0657 hours, reporting an unresponsive individual at a specified location in Washington, District of Columbia. The responding officers discovered the body of a female, later identified as Carla Theresa Moment. Despite the initial identification, she remains an unclaimed person.
