On January 30, 2016, the body of Thomas Eugene Cooley, a 74-year-old white male, was found in his room at the Mesa Inn located in El Paso, Texas. An investigation into his death was undertaken by the El Paso County Office of the Medical Examiner. The examination revealed that there was no evidence of foul play involved in Cooley's death, and it was determined that he had a significant medical history which may have contributed to his passing.
