On January 12, 2024, an unclaimed male body identified as Pedro Jose Angel Gomez was discovered in front of a Dollar Tree store located at 3300 E Tulare in Fresno, California. Gomez, who was experiencing homelessness, was transported to the Community Regional Medical Center following his discovery. At the medical facility, he succumbed to natural causes, leaving behind no known family or connections.
