On February 4, 2024, the body of Ulices Melendez, an unclaimed individual, was discovered beneath a porch in Chicago, Illinois. After being found, he was promptly transported to a local hospital, where medical personnel attempted to provide care. Despite their efforts, he was ultimately pronounced deceased on that same day. The circumstances surrounding his death, including how he came to be under the porch, remain unclear.
