On November 26, 2022, the body of an individual identified as Jose-Tomas Rivas was discovered in Queens, New York. Despite efforts by local authorities and the Office of Chief Medical Examiner New York City (NYC OCME), the case remains unresolved as Mr. Rivas's body has not been claimed. Although no family members or acquaintances have come forward to identify or claim him, the NYC OCME continues to hold and manage his case under the Agency Case Number Q22-37023.
