In July 2023, the body of Stephen Scott Scheidt, bearing the Namus ID: UCP105596, was discovered in Springfield, Massachusetts. On the morning of July 7th, the staff at Friends of the Homeless, a local shelter, found Stephen unresponsive. Rapidly responding to the situation, they called 911, and he was quickly transported to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Despite the immediate medical attention he received, Stephen was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
