On July 13, 2023, the body of Mario Pesina-Perez was discovered in Houston, Texas. The circumstances leading to the discovery of Mr. Pesina-Perez remain unclear, but his identity was confirmed, and he was subsequently transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital, located in the Texas Medical Center.
