On August 15, 2023, an unresponsive male body was discovered outside a business in Memphis, Tennessee. Identified through fingerprint analysis as Jorge Luis Ferrer, the individual was found by a friend who subsequently alerted authorities. Despite the positive identification by the Medical Examiner, efforts to locate or notify any next of kin have been unsuccessful, leading to his case being registered under the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) with the ID: UCP108723.
