On July 26, 1998, an unidentified male, later determined to be Rosario Alberto Tebalan-Tzul, was found unconscious on a sidewalk in Los Angeles, California. Emergency responders transported him by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital the same day. The circumstances surrounding how he ended up on the sidewalk remain unclear. After initial treatment at Good Samaritan, he was transferred to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he continued to receive care.
