On July 11, 2021, in the city of Bridgeport, Connecticut, the body of an unidentified male, later named John Pjura Jr., was discovered by a bystander in an unresponsive state. The bystander promptly notified emergency services, and the man was transported to the emergency department. Despite efforts to revive him, his life could not be saved, and the case of his death became one of investigation and unanswered questions.
