On December 27, 2021, an unclaimed male body identified as Val Lafrance was discovered in Framingham, Massachusetts. His friend, concerned about Val's well-being, had requested a welfare check after failing to hear from him for some time. During this check, authorities found Val unresponsive in his room. Despite efforts to revive him, it was determined that Val had passed away, leaving behind an unresolved mystery regarding his identity and circumstances leading up to his demise.
