On June 23, 2022, a 64-year-old male, Doungchan Jaiboon Techa, was discovered unresponsive in a home in Waianae, Hawaii. The discovery was made by the son of his landlord, who promptly alerted the authorities. Despite the efforts to revive him, Doungchan Jaiboon Techa was pronounced dead at the scene. His death launched an investigation by the Department of the Medical Examiner in Honolulu, Hawaii, as his case was classified as unclaimed.
