On August 22, 2022, the St. Louis County Medical Examiner's Office took into care the unclaimed remains of William C. Kosta, following a welfare check conducted by the Rock Hill Police Department in St. Louis, Missouri. With his Namus ID listed as UCP96713, Kosta was discovered deceased in his own residence, found lying on the living room floor without any visible signs of trauma or injury, pointing towards an apparent natural death.
