On September 16, 2015, the body of Bruno Louis Sessa, an unclaimed individual, was discovered, initiating a case that remains unresolved to this day. Sessa's remains were found in Apple Valley, California, where he ultimately succumbed while being treated in the emergency room at St. Mary Medical Center.
