Gerid W. Forste, aged 31, tragically lost his life on April 2, 2014, in Valparaiso, Indiana. The incident occurred in an apartment on Black Partridge Lane, where Forste was staying with his friend, Abraham Bratcher. The two men had been drinking heavily and smoking marijuana that evening. According to court records, a dispute arose after Forste admitted to stealing Bratcher's bottle of cologne.
