In the early hours of April 2, 2014, the life of 31-year-old Gerid W. Forste, a White / Caucasian male, was tragically cut short in a Valparaiso, Indiana apartment. What began as a night of drinking and smoking marijuana between friends ended in a fatal confrontation. Forste was at the Black Partridge Lane apartment of his friend, Abraham Bratcher, when a dispute ignited.
