In the late morning hours of a Tuesday in August 2014, a tragic event unfolded in the parking lot of the Jordan Manufacturing Company in Monticello, Indiana, leaving three people dead, including 42-year-old Agustin Oliver-Vital. A male, Oliver-Vital was caught in the midst of a violent domestic dispute that escalated to a fatal conclusion.
That day, an ex-husband arrived at the furniture plant where his former wife, 43-year-old Monica 'Delia' Gonzalez, and her boyfriend, Agustin Oliver-Vital, worked. In an act of targeted violence, the ex-husband shot both Gonzalez and Oliver-Vital before turning the gun on himself. The shooting rocked the local community and left coworkers in shock.
