On July 2, 2016, Dangelo Brown, age 26, was shot and killed in Indianapolis, Indiana, along with his brother, Justin Sims, who was 32 years old. The shooting occurred after both brothers had attended their father’s funeral earlier in the day. Family members had gathered at a residence in the 2300 block of Magnolia Place to remember their father, but the gathering turned tragic when a gunman approached and began firing into the crowd.
