On New Year's Day in 2019, Laura Rose Crowley, a 59-year-old White female, was found deceased in her Martinsville, Indiana, home in the Shireman Estates neighborhood. The tragic discovery was made by her adult son, who then alerted the authorities. Inside the residence, law enforcement also found the body of her live-in boyfriend, 59-year-old Danny Kilgore Jr.

Investigators from the Martinsville Police Department promptly determined the case to be a murder-suicide. The evidence suggested ...
