In the quiet community of Zionsville, Indiana, the life of 23-year-old Samuel Thomas Bennett was cut short in a seemingly random act of violence. On the morning of Sunday, April 28, 2019, his body was discovered by a dog walker near a retention pond along the Big-4 Rail Trail.
