Samuel Thomas Bennett, a 23-year-old resident of Zionsville, Indiana, tragically lost his life on April 28, 2019. Bennett, known for his friendly and compassionate nature, was found shot multiple times near the Rail Trail in Zionsville. The Boone County Sheriff's office received multiple calls about shots fired early that morning, but it wasn't until daylight that a resident discovered Bennett's body in a shallow retention area near the trail and Zionsville Town Hall.
