Demetrius Moore, age 52, was fatally stabbed in the early hours of September 16, 2017, in San Francisco's Mission District. The incident occurred at around 1:53 a.m. near the intersection of Hampshire and Alameda streets, a location known for high crime rates. Moore, who was known by locals as "Meech" and was reportedly homeless, suffered multiple stab wounds. He was transported to a hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
