The homicide of Stewart Vaughn, commonly known as the Christopher Vaughn case, involves the tragic deaths of Christopher's wife Kimberly and their three children in their family SUV on June 14, 2007. The family, from Oswego, Illinois, was reportedly on a trip to a waterpark when the incident occurred. Christopher Vaughn claimed he had pulled over to check a car issue when his wife began shooting, but authorities found inconsistencies in his account.
