Dequan M. Barnett, an 18-year-old from Chicago, was tragically shot and killed in the early morning hours of November 26, 2016. The shooting occurred during a holiday weekend in the South Chicago neighborhood. Barnett was attending a party when gunfire erupted, leaving him fatally wounded. The incident also injured five others, with one person critically hurt.
