Lazarec A. Collins, age 26, was shot and killed on February 14, 2017, in Chicago's Lawndale neighborhood. The tragic incident occurred while Collins was in a vehicle with his two-year-old nephew, Lavontay White Jr., and his girlfriend, who was pregnant at the time.
