Nancy Starnes, aged 80, and her son Kenneth Starnes, aged 58, were tragically murdered on September 22, 2017, in their home in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. The incident was a result of a home invasion that turned deadly. The police were alerted to the scene after relatives, unable to reach Nancy and Kenneth, discovered signs of forced entry and immediately contacted the authorities.
