In the early morning hours of October 7, 2018, the life of 21-year-old Hasaan Burton of Virginia Beach, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Accomack County, Virginia. The incident unfolded around 4:30 a.m. when the Accomack County Sheriff's Office received a report that two individuals with gunshot wounds were being transported to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital from the Exmore area.
