On December 16, 2007, 16-year-old Alexandra Toro was killed in a drive-by shooting in Chicago. She was walking with a group of people when gunfire erupted, targeting the group. While a young boy with her was injured, Alexandra was struck fatally. Witnesses reported seeing a white van fleeing the scene after the shooting, but despite investigations, no suspects were immediately identified.
