In the quiet community of Keeling, Virginia, a tragedy unfolded that shattered a family. Joan Jefferson Bernard, a 62-year-old woman, was found deceased at her home. Her life, along with the lives of her 25-year-old daughter, Emily Bivens, and her 14-month-old grandson, Cullen Bivens, was cut short in what would become a grim and perplexing case.
