Paris Bassett, a 16-year-old, was tragically killed on March 2, 2008, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred on the 1300 block of East 72nd Street, where Paris was shot in the head. This was part of a particularly violent weekend in Chicago, which saw eight Chicago Public School students shot, three of whom, including Paris, lost their lives.
