In the quiet neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia, the evening of August 30, 2021, was shattered by a grim discovery that would leave the community in mourning. Clarence Meredith, a 54-year-old man, was found inside a structure on Oakwood Avenue, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The call came in to the Richmond Police at approximately 9:05 p.m., reporting a person down in the 1300 block of the street.
