Jonathan Swoope, a 20-year-old resident of Chicago, was tragically killed on June 15, 2008, during a birthday party in the Morgan Park neighborhood. Swoope, who was working as a DJ at the party, was shot once in the back by an individual who had previously been removed from the gathering for causing a disturbance.
