Ulysses Simmons, age 14, was shot and killed on June 16, 2008, in Chicago, Illinois, following a dispute over a bicycle. The incident occurred near his home in the South Side neighborhood of Cottage Grove. Ulysses and his friends had been riding their bikes, and while they stopped at his home, the bikes were stolen. Some of Ulysses' friends later identified the individuals who had stolen the bikes, and they confronted them to demand the bikes back. They managed to recover one of the bikes, but t ...
