In the late summer evening of August 20, 2020, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace on the 400 block of Grant Avenue in Plainfield, New Jersey. When the echoes faded and police arrived at the scene, they discovered two men who had been struck by bullets. One of these men was 30-year-old Cory Johnson, a resident of Plainfield.
