James Clickard, a 19-year-old from Southgate, Michigan, was fatally shot on January 29, 2015, during a home invasion. The incident occurred around 5 a.m. in the 15000 block of Flanders Street. According to reports, Clickard broke into the home of a 74-year-old neighbor, who was armed and confronted Clickard when he heard noises inside his house. Both Clickard and the homeowner were armed, and the confrontation ended with the homeowner shooting Clickard, who died at the scene.
