On a tragic day in March of 2015, the life of 21-year-old Jamila Monet Vigier-Cage was cut short in Troy, Michigan. A recent resident of Auburn Hills and a student at Wayne State University, she was a young mother to her son, Josiah Santino Mullen. Her friends and family remember her as a creative, inspiring, and caring individual with a passion for volleyball, writing, music, and a clothing line she had started with her best friend.
